The Brief does not collect any personal data, require registration, or track your reading habits. All content is fetched from public RSS feeds and YouTube channels.

Your preferences (theme, bookmarks) are stored only in your own browser's localStorage — never on our servers.

We care about privacy beyond our own product. For private browsing we recommend NordVPN, and to keep your accounts secure, NordPass.

Built with React, Netlify serverless functions and a genuine frustration at having 15 browser tabs open just to read the news.
